Removing paint from tiles can be as easy as scraping it from the surface. You can try this method only if the paint has dried out completely. Use a putty knife with rounded corners for the task but beware of the angle at which you’re holding the tool. Always scrape on a slope angle while pressing the blade close to the tile’s surface. This will prevent you from scratching and damaging the glaze.

There’s this basic principle in chemistry that the same solution is capable of dissolving itself – “oil dissolves oil”. Use this method if the paint splatter hasn’t dried out completely. Apply a thin coat of paint on top of the existing splatter and wait for 10-15 minutes for the first layer of paint to loosen up. Then use a paper towel to wipe it from the tiles. Be gentle and avoid spreading the paint as this will create a bigger problem than before. This method will not remove the paint completely from your tiles but is a good starting step. If everything is fine, proceed with applying the solution to a cotton pad and blot the paint splatter with it. Clean the area with a paper towel and finish up by wiping the area with a damp cloth.

Bring the concoction to a boil and prepare a clean cloth. Next, apply this solution with your cloth on the problem area. Because of the temperature of the vinegar, you’ll see that the paint will start loosening up. Scrub the splatter with a soft brush and repeat the process until the paint is removed from the tiles.
