New Bathroom Installation in Groby, LE6
Our experts had the privilege to provide services for renovation and bathroom installation in Leicester for an elderly gentleman with specific requirements. The customer wanted to enjoy an easily accessible and comfortable bathroom space with a minimalistic look. After a discussion with the client, we were ready to make suggestions, propose a plan, and get to work.
The results after the bathroom installation
The first goal that we had was to reconstruct the bathroom area to make it easy to access. Our mission was to remove the bath and replace it with a shower. To achieve this and to transform the bathroom into a more spacious area, we tackled the cupboards first. The bathroom had a cupboard, which reached the hallways. Our specialists broke the cupboard area off and plastered the hallway on the outside. As a result, the cupboard was halved and the area, which was taken over by the cupboard in the bathroom, was removed. This enabled us to provide a larger space overall.
In addition, we changed all of the plasterboards in the bathroom to strengthen the walls after taking off the tiles.
Next, we installed a large shower tray with a two-head thermostatic shower. We positioned the tray closer to the floor to provide a 14 mm step to the depth of the tray. Together with the client, we selected appropriate bathroom furniture made in the UK, which was specifically designed to open up the bathroom space.
We finished the project by installing chrome vinyl flooring. To provide the minimalistic style desired by the client, we chose easy-to-clean shower panels in the shower area. We skimmed and painted the bathroom. Our professionals also skimmed the ceilings and installed 6 LED white lights. We also attached a white extractor fan in the bathroom.
The final result was a clean, easily accessible, minimalistic bathroom with a lot of extra space for the storage of bathroom accessories.
