An outdated bathroom interior unfit for the modern-day
Our experts in bathroom fitting in Leicester took on an exciting project of transforming a predated bathroom from the 1990s in an old cottage property into a modern, yet minimal space that would remain consistent with the overall style of the house. The mission was to equip the bathroom space with the comfort and convenience that modern solutions have to offer and at the same time keep the flooring consistent from the landing to the bathroom area.

Transforming an old traditional bathroom design

We began by installing new, water-resistant and extremely durable panels in the shower area. As a result, we achieved a clean effect, with no tiles and grout, making the space easy to clean and look after. We used two-door quadrant enclosures with fitted furniture and used furniture above the toilet section to provide a full contemporary look in the Laura Ashley style. The room was decorated and we installed made-to-measure mirrors that answered the height requirements of the client. The bathroom was enhanced with a splashback over the sink area, which was in the same pattern as the one used in the shower area, keeping the style consistent.

As a result, the family size bathroom in this traditional property was completely redone and toned up. The bathroom has traditional handles and a traditional door and the client was delighted with the work done to preserve the old yet modernize it with a new touch. The project was a full rip out, where plastering and boarding were necessary. The final touch was to paint the bathroom space and complete the full electric works using LED lights.
