Our experts in bathroom renovation in Leicester were contacted by a young client with a mission in mind. The customer wanted to go through a complete bathroom renovation with the aim of modernising the bathroom space. With an eye for design and beauty, the client desired a clean bathroom which gives a modern inspiration in the bathroom industry. Our specialists were tasked with creating a completely new bathroom to the existing design.

How our bathroom renovation experts helped

Once we received the full details of what the client envisioned, we created a plan and began the journey. We installed metro wall tiles on the walls where the fitted furniture was. All fitted furniture inside the bathroom space was UK-manufactured. Once we metro tiled the walls, we finished off with black grout. We also installed the same tiles in the bath.

Originally, the bathroom didn’t have any pigeon holes or cubby holes where accessories could be stored. We fixed this problem by creating a pigeon hole for bottles and shampoos, with a recessed area that could be used while taking a shower.

One of the client’s requirements was to have everything in a symmetrical colour scheme of white and black. We mentioned earlier that we installed black grout on the walls. However, we also went for a black tile rail and a black shower screen. Details like taps, shower, waste trap, and even the door stopper and the system push button were black. This was an extremely detailed work, where attention was paid to every detail. There is no chrome in the bathroom.

We installed white Hazel spotlights, plastered the whole bathroom, and painted it. We used grey tiles for the flooring with black grout and a skirting board (4 inches high) on the tiles, finishing off with black trim.

The client had a combi boiler which we managed to give a thermostatic two-head shower. We tiled the window ledge and finished it off with black trim to give that modern look the customer wanted. The bathroom now has a recess tap within the wall for the basin and a countertop sink basin unit which provides a wider worktop space. This allows the client to accessories and use it however they please. Finally, we finished off with a large 800 round LED mirror with two available tones – cool to warm and warm to cool.
