Bathroom Fitting in Enderby, LE19

For this bathroom renovation, the customer was in search of bathroom fitters in Enderby. In particular, when we asked them why they approached us, the customer said that they were looking for bathroom renovators near me and they came across Bath Barn and assigned us with their renovation project.

The instructions

From the outset, the bathroom was very dated. It contained a bath with taps on the side, which wasn’t really functional. They also had an electric shower together with a regular basin and a separate toilet. The task at hand was to create a seamless bathroom that was more functional and offered easy accessibility.

The task at hand

While the customer had the bathroom design in mind, we were tasked with the supply and fit of all the accessories and materials. Here’s a recap of what we did:

The shower area

We put in an anti-slip shower tray and wetroom shower panels. The anti-slip stone resin tray has exceptionally strong durability and is slip resistant. This is great for people with disabilities or people who have young children. Regarding the wetroom shower panels, there were two of these installed. One was straight and the other was a return one with a fixed shower bar along with a flipper panel. This helped the water not escape from the shower area and brought more accessibility and space to the shower area.

The shower

We also installed a two-in-one shower so they could have a tap if they wanted to wash their dog and they also have a shower facility. The customer chose plastic shower panels throughout the whole bathroom, giving it a seamless look.

The trims

We finished off with trims everywhere along the bathroom. There were some boxed-in areas where we couldn’t conceal the pipework within the wall so we created a box frame and added panels within the area.

The ceiling

Overall, the customer went with cladding on the ceiling with spotlights and we installed a chrome towel rail.

The flooring

We made the finishing touches with vinyl flooring throughout and we changed the toilet in the next bathroom.
