Our bathroom fitters in Leicester had the chance to work on an extremely challenging bathroom renovation project. The client that approached us was based in Leicester’s city centre, in an 11-storey building. The flat was positioned on ground 7, making it very difficult to transport goods to and from the flat. Waste removal and furniture delivery were some of the biggest challenges that we faced throughout the project. In addition, the client had experienced a leak in the bathroom, which had resulted in the appearance of mold on the existing 30×30 old-style tiles and had led to a bathroom that wasn’t functioning.

Due to the location of the flat, we didn’t have the opportunity to make changes to the ceiling because we didn’t have precise measurements and information about the void areas. After a conversation with the client about planning and preparations, our experts were ready to get to work.

The results from the Bathroom Supply & Fit

Because of the limitations regarding the ceiling, the client kept their existing lights and extractor fan, but apart from that – we changed everything else in the bathroom space. We selected royal furniture with a semi-recessed basin and a convenient work surface. We also installed a 1200 LED mirror with LED backlights, which created the illusion of an overall broader and more spacious premise. The client chose to change the original tiles to 1200 x 900 large format style tiles, giving the bathroom a bit more area visually.
With part of the bathroom installation, we installed vinyl flooring with an eclectic thermostatic tile rail for convenience during the cold months.
